Edge tuning

Found a good deal on an edge chip, bought and installed it yesterday. Last night I had it on level 2 and decided to put it to the floor to see what it will do. Everything was going fine until it decided to shift into overdrive. I noticed the rpms getting high but figured it would shift then they just shot up, my truck backfired and as it did i guess it tried to shift as i was letting out. I waited a minute then hit the gas pedal to get back up to speed and the transmission felt like it was gone. It ended up catching a few seconds later, but I was just curious on any solutions to this problem and at what rpms most people run their shift points at? Thanks

If you are going to stay in it that long, you should turn the OD off. That is a very weak point with the transmission as is the 3-4 shift.

My settings are in post number 3 of the following thread. The only thing different for level 2 is you don't bump the timing.
