I am looking for some help in customizing the canned tunes that came with my new Edge Evolution. I would like to see what people have found that works good with their edge with an 06 with a 5.4 engine. I would like to customize one of the canned tunes for performance and another one for fuel economy. I am thinking I am going to try to tune the level 1, trans for fuel economy, and the level 2 towing for performance. Any help people could give would be greatly apprecicated.

 

These are my favorite setting's so far!

Idle RPM=+60

Tire size=2322

Gear ratio=3.55

Wot shifting:
1-2=5250
2-3=5250
3-4=5000

Shift firmness
1-2=+10
2-3+10
3-4+10
Max rpm's=5700
wot fuel=+1.5

STD Shift MPH
1-2=-2
2-3=-3
3-4=-2
2-1=-2
3-2=-3
4-3=-2

Conv lock points
1st=-2
2nd=-3
3rd=-3
4th=-2

Conv unlock
1st=-2
2nd=-3
3rd=-3
4th=-2

If it's not listed then I didn't change that setting!

 

I just filled my truck with some 93 octane fuel so i'll be trying the level 3 out tomorrow! So far I have been impressed with the Edge and I had a Hypertech Max Energy programmed on my truck before!

 

What mods do you have on your truck...and this level 2 with 87 oct correct?

The only mod's I have is a K&N drop in filter and 2.5" true dualed exhaust with an x-pipe and the rear cat's deleted! Yes those setting's were used for the 87 octane tune and i'm also using them for the 91 octane tune i'm running now!
