Best Chip/Tune for my money?

I have an 04 lariat 4x4 5.4 with a leveling kit and 35's and right now im in a pickle; i live in memphis and no one around here will tune my truck; hypertech is located here but they do not do that anymore. so therefore basically i need to buy a chip and i have heard different things but I want a happy medium of gas mileage; performance; and towing but with reliability also. I am seriously considering an edge evo and i would like to see if anyone has a better idea.

Custom tune from Troyer Performance or VMP in a Xcal 2 or 3 device would be my choice. Custom tuning by Bill at PHP in a Gryphon would be a great choice as well. The Gryphon is a custom tunable Edge and Bill could give you what you want.

Use the search tool and you will be enlightened.

I second Norm's comment. Those are three very good companies doing programming for these trucks. I have the Gryphon and if it goes out, would buy another one. If I was unable to get one, I would not hesitate to get an Xcal3 from either VMP or Troyer.

I did ALOT of reading about tuners. Pretty much about 3 months worth. From what all is provided down to individual users experience. I come from the import world so im not new to tuning but the way these trucks are done is completely new to me. With what im used to doing i pull the car up on the dyno, plug a laptop into my AEM EMS and open the software make a pull on the dyno check the datalogger and make adjustments.

If I could have one of these systems for any of my other cars....... wow i don't know what i would do i bet i would drive my supra a hell of alot more that's for sure. Anyway back to my original point. After all that i decided to go with the gryphon. Bill is super nice and will answer any and all of your questions and even listen to thoughts you have an give you a few more ideas. I ordered mine last friday so i know i wont have it for a bit but once i get it ill post up more of my thoughts.
