Edge evo in 04 fx4

Ok, so i had an edge evo in my 05 f150 a few years ago and bought an 04 fx4 last july, and i really wany an edge again! My question is, where is the cheepest place I can get one (besides ebay) A few years ago I bought mine from an authorized dealer I actually found on this site, but I dont remember who. They seem to be muuuuch more expensive now than they were when I got mine. It seems that now the average is around $400. Also, Im buying it for the mpg increase, as well as the power boost, but is there a tune that i should get to further increase my mpg? The only mods the truck has are cutom dual exhuast. Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing you did not keep the Edge you used on the 05, right? It would have worked on the 04 just fine.

The Edge can not be custom tuned. It has custom settings to set timing and shift pressure, etc, but this does not achieve an economy tune. It has to be converted to the Gryphon by PHP or just buy the Gryphon to staet with. Bill can do an economy tune. They are at www.powerhungryperformance.com

I have an Edge and ran the canned tunes for about 30,000 miles, then got the PHP custom tunes back when Edge allowed that to be done. So in effect, I have the Gryphon now, about 20.000 on the Gryphon tunes. I did not really get any better mileage with the Edge nor the Gryphon custom tunes. All about the same, just a lot more power and performance. I have the performance tunes. Bill can do economy tunes if that is your request.
