I would contact both of them and see who you feel most comfortable with. I still have not decided, and thats the reason that I joined this site.

because this question has been asked a million times, a search would have brought up more then enough info to make a wise choice on a programmer, there is no best, just peoples opinions, then people will get in a pissing match over which they think is best, look into all the brands and get what you like the most, my opinion is the xcal2 from vmp

o yeah... they are the same except the xcal3 can hold up to 6 tunes, the 3 "canned tunes" and 3 custom tunes, you can still get the xcal2 i believe there is one in the classifieds right now, not many stores still sell them. nothing wrong with the xcal3, just the xcal2 will be cheaper and i personally dont have a need for 3 canned tunes that i cant use because of my intake

the xcal2 or 3 can be bought several places, on this site people preffer either troyer but can have up to a 6 month wait, or vmp with no more then a weeks wait. i got mine from vmp and love it

I guess if one only wants custom tunes, canned are kinda useless. I am wondering, could ya 86 the canned tunes and get 6 custom?

The question's been answered over and over again. Look through this forum and form your own answer. It's all opinion. No one has any real objective facts to give you. The current favorites though are the Gryphon from PHP, and the XCal from VMP or TP.
