Used gryphon

Will a used gryphon with custom tunes work on any truck or does it have to have the hex code changed OR JUST STAY WITH A NEW ONE

The problem would be running the custom tunes on your truck, since it would be tuned for the other truck setup. Bill at php is a great tuner so he will have it dailed in exactly for the other truck, so you very well may run into problems. Unless you got it reset back to the canned tunes

The guy thats got it for sale on here isn't replying back may just stay with new

I've never seen the question of calibration answered. When Bill does a custom program, I would think it would be for that specific calibration and not contain the entire list like the canned programs. But, don't know.

Also, for those who are considering purchasing a used Gryphon OR Evo... be aware that the warranty does NOT convey!

I bought used. They walked me through reflashing the calibrations and what not. Mine was custom tuned, and Bill said they would need to erase those, and create new custom tunes, specific for MY truck, and my area, driving style, etc etc etc. It was super easy, Bill was super helpful. They walked me through this reflash process, took no time at all and it gave me the canned tunes, while I waited for Bill's custom tunes to arrive. In a short time, I had my own custom tunes to rock !

i got email from corey so i'm just staying with the new one and wait on my custom tune after i get my hex cod e i think thats how it works never done this just had the predator canned tunes i was just looking for some advice thanks for the help
