Question info on programmers

I have a 2006 f-150 with the 5.4 L i want more power from my truck but i don"t want to destroy the engine. Right now all i have is the K&N cold air intake(but I need more) I also have an extended warranty so im looking for something that is undetectable after it is removed and easy to remove. yet under $500 any ideas would be great. Nothing is "undetectable", if the dealer really wants to look for it. Your intake could be making your engine run somewhat lean, which is not good for longevity. This can be corrected with a programmer and custom tunes of course. Our favorites are ones programmed by PHP, Troyer, and VMP. All are easy to remove and reinstall (about 5 minutes work).
