Justin art VMP want me to " plug it into your truck, and use it to read out the PCM and TCM strategys and part numbers)

Well I have the PCM sticker on computer under hood,
and read strategy RXFM4E2.H32 I then get another number on the next line:
9L3P-7J104-DB ( is this the TCM?)
And should I assume the Parts number is coming off the SCT X3 itself?
I would really like to give this man the correct info without bothering him, Obviously I am anxious to get it rolling later in the week. Any offers of help as to my thinking?

Yes and thanks for the help. Had to download new firmwareand software to the unti then it pulls several codes. ( the key is to download all upgrades for the unit first, if you do not upgrade it will not pull TCM code for the new 2009 trans.
Now I feel like a kid with a new toy that is not allowed to take it out of the package...waiting for the email tunes from Justin

 

just make sure the stratagy on the SCT is the same as the pcm (RXFM4E2) . i would connect the sct and verify.. the computer could have been reflashed so then the hex code would not be teh same.

 

Id plug it in and play with the canned tunes. Something is better then nothing.
