4.6L-2 valve

Unfortunatly I just found out that my 07 4.6 is a 2 valve engine. I wanted to install the edge programmer, however I beleived that it was for the 3 valve. Edge tells me that it should work in either motor. has anyone installed an Edge in a 2 valve and what were the results???

There were no 4.6 3v motors available in our trucks in '07...the edge should work just fine. The 5.4 was the 3v engine.

I have a PHP Gryphon (modified Edge) on my 2004 4.6 2v and it works like a dream. My results were my transmission shifted the way it is supposed to and not like a soccer mom's suv. Increased throttle response. Truck has woken up to what a V8 should feel like.

Currently I am running 94 octane in canned level 3 plus a few tweeks and I couldn't be happier.

So, yes. The Edge for 2004-2008 f-150 v8 engines works. If you plan on doing any mods that will require custom tunes or you just want custom tunes anyway then I would recommend the Gryphon from PHP since the Edge's tunes can not be customized.
