If you could gain 35 hp, 40lb/ft tq and 5 mpg for 25 dollars, don't you think that ford would install it on every vehicle from the factory or everyone on this site would have one?

I don't mean to sound like an ***, just do a quick sanity check with some of that. There are good programmers out there that produce good gains, I'd start by looking into them.

Take it from me and don't waste your money. When I first got my truck I bought 2 of those crap chips, then bought a Jet chip for $300 and the end result is none of them did crap for me UNTIL I decided to go with a Edge Performance tuner and just recently send it to PHP for custom tunes.

Save your money and do a lot of research, google is your friend, and spend your money on the right tuner the first time.

On this board and any other board you will get feedback with Edge being one of the top 3 tuners. I love it and it made a huge difference on my truck, I couldn't ask for anything better.

You can get custom tunes if you have done any modifications to your truck at http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13..._Your_Evo.html

or you could buy direct from them and save on custom tunes:
http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...e_Vehicle.html

Others might be able to give you feedback on other tuners such as:

http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...tion_Chip.html
http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...p/SCT_SF3.html

The greatest thing I like about the Edge is you can monitor all your fluid temps, MPG and and a ton of other things.

no the 97-03 edge IS ONLY FOR V8s they didn't start supporting v6s until 04-present.....

HOWEVER DMD09 if you get a custom tune and flasher($400) from VMP tuning, Troyer, or Powerhungry performance, they will make it work. i think the only canned tune programer that will support your generation v6 is the diablo sport predator but not sure, just go with one of the 3 mentioned and you will be fine.
