so i cant figure out how to up date mine i downloaded the fusion software and plug it in and nothing happens except it says there was an error and to call edge. also, does anyone know a good set of settings for it, looking for gas mileage mainly....

Sorry dude - I know the Edge purposely gave you bad advice and it's anti-male (just like asking stopping to ask for directions), but you're just going to have to break down and call them.

If you can't manage (my fingers stop working on about the 8th digit), have your wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend (ewwwww ) dial the number.

The best setting for gas mileage on a truck is OPH (pronounced 'OFF' and otherwise known as the "driveway" setting). I did read a brief post about the "garage" setting and it also appears to provide very good MPG.



If you're interested in shift points, timing advance, WOT, lock-up, GR, TS, etc. then I strongly recommend you try these settings as they have proven to be extremely reliable.

There are some owners that elect to use this setup, but I tend to think if you don't know WTH you are doing you should just leave it alone (the same reason I refuse to replace components on my computer's motherboard).
