Okay, here's my problem. I have an '06 F-150 crew with the 4.6L, I had custom tunes from T.P. but they were made for my truck to run at sea level and since having the tunes, I have added a CAI, soon to add new exhaust, and new gearing for differential. So my problem as of right now is that I tow appx 3K-6K about once a week if not more, and I want the most from the Xcal and the CAI, the truck runs at 5,000 feet above sea level, so I am wondering what anyone would suggest to set the setting on the X Cal 3. The only thing I have changed is "Towing" 91 Octane because out here they have 86 88 and 91. All have ethanol. Any suggestions for Air/Fuel, Shift pressure, Shift points any and all info would be helpful. I have no Dyno any where near me. The closest is 3 hours away.

 

You need to get your custom tunes rewritten for your mods, altitude, and octane.

 

VMP or PHP can help you with a custom tune for your SCT X3, tell them what you want.

 

Well, you have Troyer tunes - he can rewrite them but you will be waiting a while I'm sure.

 

I would suggest shooting an email to Justin at VMP... Been a while since I got my tunes from him, but he was pretty quick about getting back to you... last I heard, Troyer was going to take you a couple weeks to get them back
