Edge Evo

Hi i have the edge evolution on a 06 f150. i was wondering if my cat back flowmaster 44 exhaust was working against the chip. I was also wondering and been reading that the evo should be ran with stock intake. how much of a difference would be made since i am running a K&N intake?

The exhaust does not work against the tune, the Flowmaster design itself causes you to lose a little low end torque. It is yhe price you pay for that sound.

yes, the Evo is for stock intakes but with the 2006, it is not likely you are running lean like the 2004-05s. It's just that you are not taking full advantage of the intake without a custom tune.

Custom tunes should give you back some power. But, the tires are really killing you. I suspect you've lost approximately 10% or even more acceleration compared to what you had with the stock tires. If you really want the feeling of "power", you need to regear.
