JET Mass Airflow Sensor

Im running the K&N FIPK II system and have heard getting a mass airflow sesnor is a "must"....

Any thoughts? Any members running this?

No.

Getting a custom-tuned programmer with the correct MAF transfer function to compensate for yer WAI IS a must - especially on yer model yer truck ( if it's a 5.4 3V).

The Jet MAF is useless on a stock truck, and you'd likely need it tuned for as well, given Jet's rep. I surely would not trust it to be calibrated the same as an OEM MAF.

No gains - but a lighter wallet

Now .. if you repeatedly foul yer MAF by over-oiling that K&N, then break it trying to clean it, then you'd be in the market fer a MAF, aight, lol.

Just out of curiosity, heard it's a must from whom?

A few reviews online and a friend is running it in his silverado...i think ill save my money, thanks guys!

Tell your buddy with the Silverado to check his A/F ratio
