Need IMHOs :: Programmers
I had a 2000 v6 F150 before I upgraded to a 2007 5.4L. The 2000 had a superchips chip and was interested in a programmer rather than a chip this time around. Is Hypertech a better programmer than the rest? I know they're the most popular. And if Hypertech is the better one, for everyday driving, is a hyperpac worth the extra money over a max energy?
Thanks in advance for your IMHOs!

If you read through the hundreds of posts in this forum, you find HyperCrap is near the bottom of the list of installed programmers.
You'll also see that almost all owners recommend custom tuning.
Your 2007 is OBDII - chips are no longer an option.

I feel like a noob again! I have to start all over again with knowledge on my truck. Thanks for the links shot! I will check those out.
I just have to say that I'm really glad that this site still exists. I haven't posted anything on here for at least 5 years, but the help is still efficient. Everything I knew about my old truck, I learned on this site. Thanks to its members and moderators!!!

As you can see I've laid the links out in my Sig to help you guys asking questions.
I hope you try to contact them.
This is your decision and if you plan on saving money by buying a inexpensive programmer now you might be spending more down the road on a more expensive one.
So go with an SCT X3 along with custom tunes then you'll never have to question your decision.
