There IS, for your model year truck and the corresponding CS/CTS. You lose some data logging capability in the CS/CTS, and, you don't currently have the ability to adjust WOT shift points. Finally, you don't have an "Average MPG" readout, (that was pretty inaccurate anyway) in the newer programmers.

What do you gain? Well, for one, you can monitor MORE PIDs at once than with the older unit (that was limited to four). I THINK the newer units are more "heat tolerant" than the older ones. I've noticed the CTS programs my PCM faster than the older Evolution/Gryphon. And, the CS/CTS is a color screen with more "bling" than the older screen. Finally, with the CTS, you can view a backup camera image if you desire - and you DON'T have to use an Edge camera.

The canned tunes are the same, as far as I know for pre-09 trucks. And, if you have a pre-04 truck, the CS/CTS is MUCH more reliable. Bill Cohron's PHP custom tunes would be the same on either platform.

Hope this helps.

Just installed a CTS in mine. It will smoke the tires in both level 2 & 3. I am not sure about level 1. Who cares about level 1? Besides, my gas mileage has gone up anyway.

So what was your mileage before the tuner and after smokestone? Minus a few more inches in lift we have about the same setup and Ive had my truck a year now but with only 5k miles on it so i guess the break in is done and i'm pinging out at 11.9mpg on the computer. Ive been contemplating the CTS for some time now so what do you think of it for the 09/10's?

Not sure about painting it, the dash is brown, the pillar black, and the vent area is silver. Combine all of that with the CTS being black and I am not sure it would look any better all one color, other than the stock black. Combine that with the fact that my truck is lifted and it is difficult to see through the windshield. I ended up taking the pictures while standing on my front tire.

I'm sure if you look around on Edge's website you'll find it. Or, if you call their sales department, I bet you'll get a real, live person (right away) who'll be happy to take your order.
