Interested in gryphon cs or cts!

What do you think about the Gryphon CS or CTS for my 2005 F-150, 4.6L V8? I am interested in getting either or and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on the product from someone that has it first, before I go ahead and spend that kind of money! I am really looking to increase my mpg but get up and go when i want it to at the same time as well as increase the torque going uphills! Let me know! Thanks!!

Hi & welcome.

Have you had an opportunity to read the 4,769 posts (and counting) regarding Gryphon CS / CTS ownership, both from a canned and custom perspective, and feature-set viewpoint?

These are largely resident right here in the 'Chips' forum.

Also - have you yet had the time to read the stickies at the top of this same forum? ( see my siggy for one).

Further - are you aware that PHP has a forum for their products? It's here - http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/ . You may wish to register there as well, since it's more product-specific.

Begin by taking the first step towards self-awareness and review the vast repository of information directly related to your question(s).

Then - Let us know what you think!

Thanks for being proactive!

If I may very briefly summarize (your independent review of the material you'll find alluded to above will reveal much more) - the consensus (on this board at least) is folks are generally 'pleased' - by the product's tuning, extensability (ability to accept true custom calibration files, which are superb), features set (screen, camera option, menus & navigation of same). Criticisms include support (PHP is BIZZY!), lack of features that were present on the previous gen Evo (e.g. Avg MPG's), price, and for 09+ folks, lack of full TCM support and access.

Now for the shameless plug: have you looked at SCT's products? See siggy for linkies. With VMP you can acquire terrific custom tuning very, very quickly indeed.

Shameless plug #2: QUICK! a CS is fer sale (good price too) in the Classifieds! https://www.f150online.com/forums/pa...-gas-sale.html
