Earlier this year, we opted to start drop shipping some programmers directly from Edge, as they were often backordered and we received them piecemeal as they were completed. (By having them drop shipped, the wait time is considerably less for our customers since they don’t have to be shipped to us and then out to the customer.)

I received an e-mail today from Edge informing me that some PHP customers were actually calling THEM to check on their orders. Though they checked on a couple of orders out of courtesy, they WILL NOT be providing information about PHP orders (including tracking #s) in the future; Edge has their own customers, and we do not expect them to provide customer service to ours.

If your programmer is labeled as DROP SHIPPED on your invoice and you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Often, we don’t have an exact ETA when items are backordered, but we can always check with Edge and see if they have new information for us.
