Used Diablo Programmer ?

What should I look out for on a used one. I found on locally for 150. I asked for p/n and the guy emailed me that the only number on the back are " 2004 F150".

Thanks,
Rob

make sure it isnt locked to a specific vin number on a vehichle already. I dont know if the Diablo works the same way as the Superchips one. But if so once it is locked to a vehicle it costs to get it unlocked.

As long as the original owner reloaded his stock tune, u should be good to go. The current version is 9r11 I believe, so if it isn't that u will need a connector to the computer to update if u want current version. It tells u the rev number when its booting up.

Thanks - I might check it out this weekend and if loads to my truck I'll buy it. I had superchips before on a 2000. And now i have a 2006 and been checking off/on craigslist and a guy has it for 150. I'm just not familiar with the brand and dont know if its updatable. Anyway thanks for the comments.

If its unlocked its not a bad deal for $150. Sounds like the correct U7151 part number.

Thanks
