Tuner Problems
Hi there
I recently bought a SCT X3 for my 2000 f150 with a 4.6. I ordered it with some custom tunes. The new tunes seem worse than the stock tune. Any ideas as to where I should go from hear? Is this not a good tuner for my truck? Seems like maybe something else is wrong, any ideas?
Thanks

You may need to reset the fuel trims in the pcm
First set the truck back to stock
Second disconnect the battery and turn the lights on
Third clean the maf and throttle body and change fuel filter
Forth turn lights off reconnect battery
Fifth go out and drive it 100-150 miles
Sixth now try and program your tune
If the above doesn't work contact the tuner who wrote them.....
Take care
