So I broke down and bought the tires yesterday. 295/70r18s.
They look awesome! I have a 2.5 leveling kit and they don't rub at all....
The Nitto site shows 34.41" OD (inflated) and 11.77" wide but they don't list revolutions per mile. A generic tire sale site lists them at 604 revs/mile.
Can anyone confirm that for me? The tire store I got them from doesn't have that info and said that Toyo makes Nittos but they don't make a 295/70 or have revs/mile on their site either.
I want to use the tuner to update the pcm.
Thanks!

The 604 rev/mile value is a very good starting point. Looking at different amounts of "squish", I come up with anything from 603 to 609 revs/mile for those tires. If you inflate them to spec, I think the 604 number will be correct.

It doesn't really matter how accurate you start off with - you fine tune it with a GPS. You want the GPS speed to match the programmer's displayed speed.

If you want to compare mileage, try loading up a tow tune if they gave you one. My mileage went down with the performance tune and up with the tow tune, all driving as similar as possible.

Finally got my custom tune loaded onto the SCT tuner and remapped the PCM.
WOW!!!!!
Huge difference in how the truck drives.
The canned tune made the truck drive like something was done to it where Mike Troyer's tune is like a stock vehicle. Shifting is much, much improved.
Stomp the pedal and the truck scoots sideways maybe 8 inches then jumps.
The canned tune just gave me a squeal.
Mike actually spent time w/me on the phone and seems like a genuinely great guy. Highly recommended even with a really long wait time.

9 months sounds about right for Troyer.

Nope, not that long. I got them at the end of last year.
I've been sitting on them for a while.
It's a huge difference between the STC canned tune and what Troyer did.
