I have an X3 I got from VMP tuning with the plans of using it on my old 01 F150 with a 5.4, but I was never able to get it to work, I think the pickup had a chip in it from a prior owner.

But on to the main point of the story, my Dad recently bought a 2012 King Ranch F150 with an Eco-boost engine in it, I was wondering if it's possible to use the tuner with the Eco-boost as long as I got new tunes for the SCT? Because if all it takes is some new tunes It will make it a fairly cheap way to get extra power out of Eco-boost.

 

depending on when you purchased it there are probably firmware updates that will bring it current from sctflash.com for it to work with the newer truck.....
