Removing a PHP CS

I am looking at removing and selling my PHP CS. I know I need to reset my tune to factory before taking it off but is there anything I need to do so it is usable for the next person?

When you return your truck to the stock tune, it unlocks the tuner. That is all you need to do.

Not quite Jim, if he happens to have custom tunes on the CS. If you do, cddavis, you need to connect the CS to the Fusion app on your PC. This will remove the custom tunes on the CS, and will return it to the "canned tune" state. Then, you can put it up for sale. Do this AFTER you have reset your truck to the stock tune.

If you don't have custom tunes from PHP, you just need to set the truck to stock, as Bluejay said.

Thanks, Jack. I thought the new owner could download the canned tunes.

Sent from my iPhone using IB AutoGroup

Yes, he/she could, but I think the sale would be "better" if the unit was already "plug and play". It would avoid some possibly unhappy moments.

Nothing a little seller communication couldn't handle.

All too true, but how often have you seen that this "communication" doesn't seem to exist?

Never in a sale I've been involved with.

It really is simple. No need to complicate a sale with a lack of common sense by either party.

Quick question. If you have a gryphon and return your truck to stock, a different truck wouldn't be able to run the custom tunes?

Not unless the buyer's truck has the same hex code.
