trip odometer

I've just purchased a 2004 f150, it had no owners manual.
there is a digital display in the lower right corner of the gauge layout with odometer, temp and compass info. however I'm unable to find a trip odometer or any menu buttons to allow to search or reset any of the digital screen info. could this truck not have a trip odometer option?

Hi and welcome!

I don't have an answer to your question, but here is a link where you can download an owner's manual for your truck. http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/f...wners-manuals/

You should be able to find your answer there. Enjoy your new ride!

It would be better to refer this person to the official Ford site for the manual.

Thanks, glc. I would have done that, but when I went there and checked for one for his model year, the pdf that came up was found to be written in SPANISH. Since I didn't know if he was bilingual, I found an alternate source.

I'm somewhat disappointed in Ford about this (as you might guess).

Okay, here's an alternate, still official Ford:

That one's good, glc, and I've bookmarked it.

Thanks!
