Well got my custom tunes today 87 economy 87 tow and 91 performance and loaded the 91 octane tune.. This is a pretty bad *** tune! I tried to get a 0to 60 but got nothing but wheel spin at 3/4 throttle. So i tried it again from a roll and it was a little better but still loosing traction.. This really woke the truck up. Cruising around town is perfect, transmission shifts alot better, its always in the right gear.. Overall very pleased with it. Got to give a shout out to Stage 3 Motorsports, Great customer service!

The last video was out on the paved road at the lake which is a good mile of straight wide road.. Not a public highway(just thought id make that clear for the internet police guys )

Try a 4x4 0-60 launch. Brake torque and smoke all 4 tires LOL.

 

Thanks, its crazy how much better the truck runs just cruising around.. This is my first Custom tune's ever, i ran a edge on the Kr for 35,000 miles but it was the canned tunes. When i first got the truck i didnt think custom tunes were needed but the go fast bug has hit me , Next is a AFE stage 2 intake. According to Stage 3 on the dyno runs they picked up around 25 extra horses from the intake on the custom tune from 5 star.

Thats my problem, its a 2wd. So i can forget about traction from here on out. Maybe a wider set of tires will help when the time comes.
