Hi & welcome!

It's CRAP. Stay well away from them - and all others like it (resistor in a box).

Many, many threads on this - here's just a couple:

That's just as big O' waste of money too. Look into the gotts mod
Just noticed you're a 2013. Don't know if there is even a gotts mod for that year. Best just leave it stock.

Thanx, thelariat02, after more research found that a CAI would have little effect and no gotts mod either, the opening on the 5.0 air intake is large and unobstructed, unlike the 5.4 or the 4.6 V8's. Stock I'm getting 20.5 with cruise control at 70 and 17 to 19 around town.

Man I'm jealous my old 5.4 2v got 19 at best cruising 62.
Glad you did some research. A lot people buy first then research later when it doesn't work. Sounds like you're on the right track.

Whew!! OK. I feel better now.

East Tenn'see, ye say? Whur'bouts? Knoxvegas here. Hunker down, yungun! We's gonna get snow, and ye know what that means fer us folk whut ne'er gits it!

Seriously, don't do the CAI thing unless yer tuned fer it first. Even then, I'm iffy on it as the meager gains afforded from it ain't worth the potential issues it could cause, IMHO. Plus, most of 'em drone like crazy!

Check out ol' Mike at 5 star. He's a reputable feller, and he does a great job tunin' the 5.0s. Of course, his stuff ain't $69. Then again, any tunin' worth havin' ain't $69.

If you order it and change your mind, make sure you at least install (or make it look like you did) it before returning it. read their terms and conditions. installed = full refund, uninstalled = 25% restocking fee. I lost over $25 in shipping and the restocking fee because I bought then researched. live and learn.

Fortunately I was able to cancel the order before it was shipped and got a full refund. I did the research after I ordered it and thanks to this forum I was able to act quickly. Thanks everyone.
