Ordered my SCT X4 7015 today

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the SCT X4 today. I sure hope it is worth the $$$$$. I mainly wanted to change my speedometer to correct it for my bigger tires. I guess I can see if the tunes really make a difference or not. My truck is completely stock except for 2 1/2" leveling lit and 295 70 18 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Good choice

Did you opt for any custom tunes?

I get three custom tunes but it appears I order those after I get my device. Right?

please reply when you get the custom tunes and let us know what you think. I am planning on getting the same tuner very shortly from MPT.

You will be very happy with MPT. My experience has been excellent with them. I've got 91 towing and 93 "race" tune both with "street" shifting. I have not tried "chill" or "race/performance" shifting so I cannot compare. What I like about the street shift is that it is very quick but not as abrupt as 5star's shifting (don't get me wrong 5star has been great too.) I have a 5.4 which is nothing like a 5.0 or eco but my 5.4 is alert now

When your tunes arrive start with the 87's otherwise you will be disappointed if you load a 93 tune and go down from there.

That's just one of the things on my loooong list of wants! It'll probably be my next big purchase for it. Let us know how it performs.

Dang it Cheef, my plans were to load the 93 tune and go with it. The only reason for the other two tunes is in case I don't like the street shifting or 93 gets to be too expensive

LOL. Your truck, your tuner bud! I've found it to be a disappointment when going from 93 to 87...

First impression is very positive. This thing rolls when you put your foot in it. WOW!

Yes Sir! I screwed up on my 5star tunes and loaded the 91 performance first, Drove it a couple thousand miles then loaded the 87 performance and it seemed like it sucked, compared to the 91!
