I just need some good gas mileage

I am looking for something that will give me great gas mileage, even though the 35hp is a great add on, money is tight (as usual) so some extra mpg would be great. Any suggestions???

Nothing you do will pay for itself in savings. The best saving is to drive slower.

^yup. If money is tight, a tuner will really only waste it. Change the plugs, fuel filter, etc. if any are due. The fuel filter is easy enough to change and MC ones are available at parts stores for like $15. (They have a service life of 30k miles and I just changed the factory one at 90k lol)

Any increase in height affects mpg negatively.

A level does, but I didn't really notice it being that bad. I went from wide 31.6" tires to narrower 33.0" tires and a level at the same time and lost maybe 0.8 to 1.2 MPG.

But as soon as I saw coobies was the last post, I thought about lowering. That actually really does make a difference.

Want good gas mileage sell the 05 and get a new truck, or better yet a car =)

Just don't think good mileage is possible in a truck ... mine went to crap when I put my exhaust in
