Superchip for 2013 F150 Ecoboost - Is it really worth it??

Many apologies if this topic has been addressed in other threads. Feel free to re-direct me and I'll do the research on the forum.

I just purchased a like new 2013 F150 with Ecoboost and wanted to know if picking up a "Superchip" like the following is worth it in terms of added HP, towing capability & fuel economy?

http://superchips.com/products/ford-...ion-1841-1841/

Are there any independent recent scientific articles on these chips. My concern is the Chips do not deliver as marketed and excessively wear the engine & drivetrain out.

Conversely, if there is a chip available that truly delivers at a reasonable price point, please share the link.

Thanks all!!

If I were buying, I would go with an SCT product from 5 Star Tuning or the new Diablo tuner. The tunes do not wear out the engine and driveline but a heavy foot enjoying the results will obviously put more strain on everything.

Always go with a custom tune to get the most out of your vehicle. Plus if there is a problem you have your tuner there to help. I recommend sct x3 or x4 with 5star or Mpt tunes.
