I have driven several different v10's and there are 2 on my farm. They're better than the V8. And quieter/nicer than the diesel. Go drive a single cab 4X2 V10, and see what you think. It will weigh similar to a supercab F-150.
.....I think it would be a great daily driver. i find these 5.4's and 4.6's to be low on power for my liking and I think the v-10 in this lighter chassis would be the answer...

It will be cool to say you have a V10 F150, but that's about it. Good luck with your conversion. Post tons of pics here when you do it!

I have driven a V-10 and you partly right about the power....they are a quiet and lower reving engine so they seem doggy but they are makimg alot of tourque. It's just like my 4.6 feeling much more powerfull than my friends chipped 6.0l diesel. The 4.6 sounds and feels faster but he literally destroys me in a drag race.
If my 4.6 didn't have so many k's on it i'd consider putting a turbo on it but it seems like nobody has put a turbo on a 4x4 truck with a 4.6. Really hard to get info on that combination.
