Hi EX91,
It is true that many people do see better fuel mileage when using the Superchip, and that is merely a byproduct of our performance tuning for premium gasoline. It's not something that we can guarantee in all situations for everybody. There are far too many factors beyond our control, such as what gas is used and it's quality (energy content), as well as how the driver operates and maintains the vehicle. The potential for better mileage is primarily when cruising, city driving mpg usually won't increase in most cases.
If you're looking for better performance, the Superchip is the way to go, and it's even available in a dual-octane configuration for those who want to be able to use either 87 octane gasoline or premium gasoline, at the flip of the switch.
Going with our 2-program Superchip Flip Chip would give you the closest possible thing to what you are asking for, as you would have better performance on either 87 octane or on premium gas (the biggest power gain will of course be on the premium gas program), and then with the premium gas program you have the potential for your cruising mpg to increase a bit.
If you'd like to go over this in more detail, please feel free to give us a shout, our contact info is just below.
