Chip Reprogramming

I have the Superchip in my 2001 4X4 Screw 4.6, and love it....

However, I have decided to add a 3" body lilft (ordered), which will require new wheels and tires (so it does not look stupid with 255x70's) - - - does it ever end??? (I hope not).

Certainly, this will goof up my final drive ratio, and at this point I prefer NOT to change gears...not for $1000

Anyway, can the chip be reprogrammed to reset the speedometer and possibly the shift points to compensate for the taller tires???????????????

Thanks a bunch!!!!!!!!

Hi Davidzog,

We can correct the speedometer, odometer & shift points for gear ratio & tire size changes in the 2001's, so sure, that can be done. Just give us a shout & we can make those arrangements with you.

Congrats on your lift & the new wheels and tires!

Sure, anytime!

We'd love to see some pictures when it's done, if you happen to take some.

Good luck!
