Diablo Chip Recommendations????
Hi there....this is a great message board, I just with I would have come across it sooner.
I have a Super Crew with the 4.6 V8, and I really wish I had bought the 5.4, but can't help that.
I have added a Flowmaster "40" with single tailpipe and it really purrs nicely.
I would like a bit more torque and mid-renge horsepower, and I have read all the advertisements (I think). I decided to order the Diablo chip and wondered how peple liked it.
I sure would appreciate any and all info - thanks!

I purchased a Diablo Sport Chip recently and have liked the harder, faster higher reving shift patterns. It was a very noticable change and I have been very pleased with the chip so far.
In reading the forums about the SuperChip, I think that is also a good product with great support from the gentleman whom sells them. If I would have known about this forum before I bought the chip I probably would hav went with the SuperChip from Mike.

I have a Diablo chip I won back in 2001 on ebay for $170
I have a 1999 regular cab F 150 with 5.4L and all I can say is this, I installed this with just over 50,000 miles on the ole clock and wish I had done this the day I drove it home! The response is incredible and sinc then have moved up to dual exhaust and recent dual air intake from Turbo City.
I also did the line valve upgrade to help improve/as well as smooth out the much harder/quicker shift points in my tranny!
Showya in Kansas City
And Diablo is honored by my local Ford dealer as well, been in a few times and never bat an eye!

I have both for my 97 Cobra(Both are non-custom programs). I can tell you that if you want to notice a deference right away go with the diablo. The superchip, out of the box, seems to be mild compared to the diablo. On my truck Im went with a superchip with an agressive custom program that really woke the truck up. At the track I run the diablo in the cobra, and the superchip on the way home.

Diablo!
I too have a Diablo. got it from Mike T. took around 300-500 miles to kick in but noticed a big difference on my 4.6L maybe Mike still has a few of the Diablos for your Computer Code. Good Luck on which ever one you decide my was based on price. would try Superchip. but wouldn't give up my Diablo.
