How do I disable the air con. pump?

I discovered that in every setting other than "Panel", my firggin' air conditioning comes on and is killing my fuel economy. I don't need A/C, so how do I unplug the compressor so that it doesn't engage? Is it a fuse or a wiore or what?

Thanks,

Moose

It is really hard, open your hood, then unplug the eletical wires to your a/c compressor (one little clip in deally on top). Yeah, I did this awile ago too. I put a bit of tape over the connections, so they stay clean. Plus it only takes a second on a hot day to plug it back in if you really need it.

Thanks

Thanks for the tip...nice when something ends up being easier than expected for once! It never gets hot enough here on Vancouver Island to use A/C...at least IMHO.
