Wiring backup lights help

I attempted to wire my backup lights to the factory backup lights to a cab switch and a relay today and I am blowing fuses....

Here is how I have it wired:

I connected the striped factory light wire to the cab switch:
and I blew the fuse for the factory backup lights

I connected the black factory light wire to the cab switch:
and I blew the fuse for the backup lights

Any help would be much apprieciated

Thanks

Tip

If I were adding more back up lamps I would just go to the source for the voltage. That's the Trans Range sensor.
By the vague schematic and the symptoms you describe, You have a short to ground somewhere. But I would tap into the
Black and pink striped wire from the range sensor and see if your new backup lamps work.

Good Luck!!
