Bought my 2001 SuperCrew a few years back and the cheesy dealer wanted to sell the me Factory Alarm for $800. I told him to no and then he said "How about $400". I still said no and took him to take it out. 2 Minutes later they return and the light on the dash is plugged by some black plug.

My question: Can I add the factory Alarm system and where would I get one (besides the dealer).

I have remote entry with Key Fobs and I figure they took the light and the brain out since they removed it with in a few minutes.

Also is the Factory Alarm decent or should I look into something else. I want to try to avoid have new Key Fobs or a pocket full.

Or if anyone replaced the factory with aftermarket and want to sell me theirs.
