I just bought a 2001 expedition eddie bauer with 35k on it and the side mirror blinkers dont work. they are red strips on each mirror and neither of them work. is there a way to change them or is it probably a fuse??

 

Had to find the posts, the signal mirror with the signal in the cover is part of the glamor cap.

Here is Larry's thread when he retro fitted stock mirror heads to the glamor cap style, and he said they are part of the glamor cap, so once removed, you can test the wire to see if power is there, or replace the blub.

I want to say I read a thread on the bulb type, but I can't find it right now. Maybe Sylvania's web site has it listed in the application guide online ?

A 6" long 3/16" straight blade screw drive is what I used to release the plastic clips on the glamor cap when replacing them.
