back up lights..

I've got a 99 F150, that has terrible back up lights. Is there any kind of upgrade bulb that would help? Hate to put some kind of ricer lights back there just to see when backing out my drive. Thanks for any help, Mike

I put some on my truck and they look ok.

I wired them in to the tow plug.

That doesn't look too bad. It certainly looks like they light up your way. Hummm...might have to go to Auto Zone tomorrow.

I put two 55w small fogs on the reciever hitch using hose clamps to mount them. Since i have the tow package i just used the back-up wire in the tow plug. Its a fused and relayed circuit. The wire is the middle one. They have been on there for a few years with no problems and they come on when i put it in reverse, I didnt feel like wiring up a switch.
