Trailer Lighting

I recently purchased a 97 Ford F-150. It has the towing package. I hooked it up to my boat and no signal lights or
brake lights. The trailer lights do come on when I turn my
headlights on, but thats it. Anybody have any answers to
my problem. Thanks.

Check the fuses. Including the miniature fuses tucked into the small fuse block tucked along the fender well under the hood on the left side. Might be covered with black tape.

There is a tow package fuse in the Power Distibution block under the hood as well as I beleive a trailer left turn/brake, right turn/brake. Refer to fuse placement chart in you ownres manual and check them all.

Problem solved

Hey,
Thanks for the advise. I completely forgot about the fuse
package under the hood. The first fuse I checked was blown.
Thanks for the help!!!
