Jumping and Irratic Gauges

My 00 Supercab instrument cluster started having intermitant fuel and oil gauge problems. The needles on the gauges will jump a little. With a few key-ons, the oil needle gauge will view as low pressure but when I tap on the cluster face, the needle will jump to normal oil pressure. What appears to be causing these problems?

Sounds like the connector on the back of the cluster is loose. the harness is prolly routed tight and is pulling on the connector. try putting you arm up and push the connector back in. If you can't then you'll need to remove the cluster.
