Keyless pad not working

I have an 03 supercrew FX4 and 2 of the five numeric keys don't light up/work. It happens that both of these keys are part of the permanent code. I just need to get it to work once so I can change the code avoiding the mal****ioning keys. Any info is appreciated.

The keypad is probably bad. Ford had problems with water getting into them in several of their vehicles. The keypad in my mom's Gran Marquis is screwed up, if I look at it with the scantool, it shows that the 2/3 button is permanently stuck. Just haven't gotten around to replacing it yet.

Jeff,

I too had a 2003 FX4 Supercrew - and as Quentin indicated, I had to have the keypad replaced because water seeped underneath the pad.
