I have a 89 f150 4x4 with auto tranny. My speedo has never worked and when I went under the truck there was a wire not plugged in by the tranny, after I plugged connected it the speedo still didn't work but now the 4x4 light stays on. I pulled another "wire" it was more like a ribbed cable from my tranny. I don't know what this was. What can I do to get my speedo and odomenter to work? I checked the fuses.
