Question 1998 F-150 Blowing Main Power fuses#20-21

My main power 50amp fuses #s 20 and 21 are blowing. This knocks out the entire dash controls, the cruise control, power windows, blowers a/c, the starter, etc.
Where does one start before hauling it to the Ford dealer for their bill?

Do you have a multimeter? Did this start happening out of the blue? Or only under certain conditions like putting the key into the ign position etc... Any work done on the truck recently? Did you run over any large objects?

Exclamation

I do own a multi meter, and yes it did start all of a sudden.
Did not run over anything large, however I did have recent work done on a b/o #1 spark plug, along with the #4 coil.
The moment of difficulty could be occurring when the key is turned.

Thanks much!

ps. I would appreciate any futher thoughts or ideas you may have.

again thank you!
