Ok guys, this is a two part question. I installed a switch so that my backup camera could be turned on manually by me as well as automatically by the headunit. I mounted it to the left of the cigarette lighter. So that it would be symmetrical, I mounted a second switch to the right of the lighter.

The first part of the question is what the hell can I wire this second switch up to so that it will be functional?

I was thinking of wiring it to the cargo lights so that I could have light when working outside without the battery saver feature kicking on and turning off the light. I know that I would probably have to use a diode to keep the power from flowing back to the interior dome lights.

But the second part to my post is where could I splice into the wires for the cargo light? And what color are they? I was hoping that there would be a place for me to tap into it near the light switch (up front) as I was not looking forward to running wire all the way to the rear of the cab.
