Dome light, Door ajar

Hey guys, my dome light was staying on after I closed the door, I did the WD thing and it quit. Well that was in the fall/winter, yesterday and today it was warm outside...my door ajar stayed on all day. It cooled back down this evening, and the diome light went off adn the door ajar did as well. I'm stuck, how come this does this when its hot outside? Does anyone have any suggestions to a fix? Thanks guys.

did you try it again? it has been moist out in the morning here, if it has been there too i'd try it again. the wd-40 thing is a bandaid, not a real fix. otherwise you need to look into switch replacement.

Thanks, I will try it again. The latch replacement...on difficulty..1 to 10. What do you think the level is, or should go to the dealer.

meh its not that hard, i'd say maybe around a 3. pop the panel and peek inside, it should all seem easier after you see it.
