Hey all,

This is my first time to view/post on this forum. I recently changed my heater core and during the process...I broke my radio. It was the OEM cassette player type. I would like to replace it with a CD player, but preferrably an OEM so that it looks original.

Does anyone know if that model ever came with a CD player/radio. If not, would anyother body year fit it?

Yes I had a 98' and put an '03 cd player in it. I had to modify(bend) some things but it worked well.

 

You could search on Ebay for F150 CD.

 

A lot of the scrap yards will sell them with a warranty to work. I know that Miechels in Howell Mich has them already out and stacked behind the counter.

 

Not sure about the in-dash cd player, but my truck is a 97 and it has the factory 6 pack CD changer in the back seat behind the drivers seat, controlled by the factory cassette / radio.
