gauge lights dont work

gauge lights dont work
i start my car at 9 pm tonight and once again have to hold a flash light to drive home so i can see my speed...
how hard are aftermarket gauge overlays to install? whats the process everything works fine cept the gauge lights...speed works and it shows my brights indicator when bright are on please help asap
please explain how to wire them to the normal gauges and all that because i need gauge lights very bad...its hard to drive on a dark texas road and see my speed
also please explain how to mark the gauges so i can put them on also please post a how to remove the needles and last but not least please tell me which gauges i need 2 buy

Are you sure you want to fool around with all this instead of replacing the bulbs?
Check for blown fuse first.
Remove neg battery cable.
Remove trim.
Remove screws holding cluster.
Un plug cables if needed.
Replace bulbs from the rear.
Reassemble and temp test before complete re-assembly.
It's less of a job than trying to make some other arrangement work.
If you need more info, get a Haynes book, check out page 12-8 section #13 and fig. 13.3.
Otherwise get some small LED stick-on lights with leads and connect in to the dash lamp fuse with an add-a tap.
Check for blown fuse first.
