Silverstars in Hella 500's?

Has anyone done this?? Alot of the time I like to drive with the hellas in my grill on and my Fog lights only, but I want the light output to look the same.

I think the Hella's are an H1 or H3??? Also will there be a better light pattern If I do this?

If you are looking to do this for a color match, yes replacing the H3 with the Sylvania H3ST bulb.
The H3ST is a 65 W bulb, where it seems the Hella H3 bulb in halogen comes in 35, 55, 100 and 130 W versions.
Don't know which wattage bulb you have in your 500 lamp head right now. You might match the light color, but reduce the light output if you have 100 W or 130 w bulbs.
As for the light pattern , no the H3ST will not change the pattern.
The light pattern is made by the reflector in the light head, not the bulb.
The bulb wattage only changes how far that light pattern is projected by the lumen output of the bulb. So if you have a 100 w or 130w H3 bulb in there now, the distance of the light pattern will be reduced.
