I have a 2004 Ford F-150 with a 5.4L. I am wanting to install a remote starter system for my truck. I live in an area where winter is brutal, and I don't have a garage. If anyone else has a remote starter on their Current Body F-150, please let me know. I would like to know where I can buy one, and any details I need to know before tackling such a task.

 

I had both my remote starts installed on the 03 F150 and 03 Ranger.The cost of the system is with it install in alot of stores.They can have it done in one day and know what wires to use.

 

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my 05 SCrew, and after searching around the site I found a lot of references to KCAutosound (https://www.f150online.com/forums/member.php. I went over to his website and was looking at this one: http://kcautosound.com/Code-Alarm-CA...5.html#aimages.

I figured when I was ready to do it, that's where I would go. I don't want the full alarm system, but the remote starter would be triple-sweet. And I figure I could always find hints from KCAutosound. He seems to be a lot of help for a lot of the other users here.
