Bought new headlight bulbs...question...

Bought new headlight bulbs...question...

I am going to be running them on my stock wiring harness'es. question is will i be fine with these specs. 12V, 8000K, 65W/55W, is that going to fry my *****?

You'll be fine. That's the stock wattage those bulbs pull. 8000K is just color (really blue) temp.

When you start closing in on 85 watts or so, then worry.

If you are after more lumen output, you might want to swap 1 bulb at a time, and check it against the stock bulb.

Also another option ( for more light output ) are the Sylvania silverstar bulbs ( even the new H13 ones ). I tested the extra vision bulb as factory, adn ran those for a while, waiting on the new design silverstar bulb. each level was an increase in light output.

if you are after the look of the bulb, never mind the above statements.
